Okay, cut the fat jokes. Obesity has now been officially declared an epidemic. And with more than 60 percent of Americans weighing in over their recommended limit, the Centers for Disease Control is warning that obesity may soon surpass cigarette smoking as a major cause of preventable deaths in the United States.
