At a time when all that beeping, glowing digital stuff didn't make sense to many of us, a cheeky and remarkably prescient gang in San Francisco said, "If you're looking for the soul of a society in wild metamorphosis, our advice is simple - Get Wired".

The first edition of the magazine, early in '93, was snapped up, devoured, digested, and hailed as exactly what it claimed to be; a manifesto for the digital revolution, a postcard from the future.

Nine years later, the magazine is undergoing a major makeover. Is that what's happening to the whole so-called revolution?

We're connecting some of the original apostles this hour, looking at everything from the seamy underside of dot-com, to whether there's a place for the rest of us in a future of nano and bio-tech. Vive la revolution?
